Readiness

Is your business actually ready for AI? Eight honest signals.

Readiness has almost nothing to do with how technical your team is. It has everything to do with whether the work you want to automate is written down.

Five signs you are ready

  • The same questions arrive every week. Repetition is the raw material. If your work is genuinely bespoke every time, automation has nothing to grip.
  • The correct answer already exists in writing. A policy, a manual, a catalogue, a set of past decisions. AI retrieves and applies; it does not invent your rules.
  • You can count the work. Calls per week, documents per month, tickets per day. Countable means provable.
  • One person can decide. Projects that need a committee to approve each step die of scheduling, not technology.
  • There is a human who can check the output. Someone who knows what right looks like and has the authority to override.

Three signs you are not — yet

  • Your team disagrees about the correct answer. Fix the policy first. AI will faithfully automate your confusion.
  • The content is scattered and contradictory. Four versions of the handbook in three folders is a content project, not an AI project. It is worth doing regardless.
  • You want AI because a competitor announced it. That is a marketing motive, and it produces marketing results — a demo nobody uses.

The fastest way to find out

Do not run a readiness assessment for three months. Pick the single most repetitive workflow, buy the smallest possible version, and watch what happens in two weeks. Readiness is discovered by doing, and $1,500 is a cheap way to discover it.

If you want the structured version first, our vendor scorecard takes three minutes and grades whoever you are considering, ourselves included.

What this costs with us

The smallest real test costs $1,500 and takes two weeks. That is a faster answer than any readiness study. Every build ships in your cloud, under your accounts, with the repository in your name.
